Jeff G -bio

“Nationwide” Jeff G has been a working musician and engineer in the Seattle and Tampa Bay arts communities for nearly 15 years. As a drummer and percussionist he has played and recorded with countless bands and songwriter projects to varying acclaim. He has also written and produced music for film and video, acted and created sound design for musical theater, and worked as a studio carpenter in Los Angeles for the world-class studio-building team of Peterson/Latouf.

Jeff G operates a project studio in Madeira Beach, Florida - producing songwriters and bands and “pinch hitting” as a drummer in any number of local acts.  He currently divides his time somewhat unequally between Mad Beach, L.A., and Seattle as projects and opportunities dictate.

           Jeff G’s styles and influences range from rock, pop, soul, r&b, funk, reggae, blues, latin, drum 'n bass, metal, industrial, experimental,  World music of all kinds, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Police, David Bowie, The Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa,  James Brown, Bob Marley, Paul Simon, Sublime, Black Sabbath, Johnny Cash, Soundgarden, Cream, Allman Bros, U2, Van Halen, The Doors, Radiohead,  Ben Harper, Buddy Rich, Matt Cameron, Charlie Watts, Gene Krupa, Dave Grohl and Nirvana, Los Lobos, Prince, Dave Mathews, The Jacksons, Chili Peppers, Golden Earring, Peter Gabriel, Stewart Copeland, Iron Maiden, Queen, My Dad, My Mom, My Grandma, My Brothers, all my friends around the world, Bruce Lee, Charles Lindbergh, Ghandi, MLK, JFK, all my favorite authors, statesmen, strong women…etc. etc.
